Last but not least, we didn't find the way to the car rental parking area in Madrid, so we parked it in the public parking right nearby. We had to choose their more expensive insurance, saying that they don't work with Allianz. Next, the insurance worth 40000EUR from kayak couldn't be used.
They only offered a Mini car (a very badly equipped Mitsubishi) which was much more expensive than what we had reserved (165EUR) compared to the (96EUR) we had on kayak including insurance. They said that even though we booked an economy car (Opel corsa or similar) we couldn't get one because the reservation specified a 4 seats car. Cons: First, when arriving at the car rental location in Madrid airport, the reservation we made wasn't valid because it's a third party.
